Daft Punk Signing with Sony for Fourth Album

French newspaper Le Parisien is reporting that Daft Punk is leaving their label, EMI, for Sony and their imprint Columbia Records. This label change would be in anticipation of their fourth full-length album.

No official release date is available for this anticipated record, but the French source indicates it will be this Spring. Also unknown is if this would be the previously reported collaboration with Chic’s Nile Rodgers.

More on this story as it develops, but it looks like the Daft Punk at Coachella rumors weren’t completely unfounded.
