Dolce & Gabbana to Launch New Perfume for Babies
Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana will be launching a new fragrance for babies, according to BuzzFeed.
The inspiration for the scent came from “the softness of baby skin, the freshness of baby breath, a mother’s sweet hug, [and] the first smile,” designer Stefano Gabbana said to the New York Daily News.
The scent reportedly includes a combination of citrus, honey and melon notes intended to enhance the natural scent of infants.
A 50 ml bottle of the alcohol-free perfume will cost $45.
Earlier this month, Gabbana released a photo via Instagram of what seems to be the packaging for the baby fragrance product.
It is worth noting, however, that the Italian designer duo is hardly the first to come up with a fragrance for babies. Burberry and Bvlgari were already ahead of the game when they launched their baby perfumes in 2010.
The release date of Dolce & Gabbana’s infant perfume is still unknown.
