Fox Greenlights Live Action Comedy from Seth MacFarlane
In a true demonstration of the power he yields at the Fox network, Family Guy creator and future Academy Awards host Seth MacFarlane has been offered a straight-to-series order for a new live action show that he co-penned with fellow Family Guy and Ted writers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, Deadline reports.
The show is titled Dads and is a multicamera comedy about two well to-do men in their 30s whose lives take a crazy turn when their respective dads move in with them. The network has already greenlit production of a six-episode first season.
