According to a report from TMZ, Frank Ocean was charged with marijuana possession, driving on a suspended license and violating a window tint law on New Year’s Eve in Mono County, Calif. Ocean was released at the scene but had his passenger drive home because his license was confiscated.

While few details were released and Ocean’s reps haven’t made a comment, the website said Ocean was pulled over after driving “roughly 90 in a 65” when officers approached the his BMW and smelled marijuana.

Ocean released our favorite album of 2012, Channel Orange, last July.
