Lollapalooza, the established annual music festival, has put its Israel tour on hold, according the Los Angeles Times.
According to a spokeswoman for the festival, the concert, which was scheduled for August 2013, has been delayed until further notice. No reason was given for the postponement.
Since 2010, Lollapalooza has been making moves internationally, starting with Chile and Brazil.
Last summer, it was announced Israel would be the next destination, but it was reported in December that organizers were having trouble drawing in talent the festival usually attracts. According to the LA Times, they were also facing financial and production problems in Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park, the park where the festival was set to take place.
