According to The Sun, U2 has a working title for a forthcoming album: 10 Reasons to Exist. The band has reportedly been working on the album in the last few months.
Although this is the name that was given in the interview, there’s an emphasis on the whole working title part, with Bono saying: “Within the band we’ve been calling it 10 Reasons To Exist – but I will tell you we might have at least six of them.”
But don’t get too excited for a new U2 album. The article also said there’s no definite timeline for release: “They’re mad for it at the moment and they really want to make a new record,” Bono said. “And they don’t care if it takes ten years-they don’t care if it never happens again, they just want to get it right.”
This would be the band’s first album since 2009 with No Line on the Horizon.
