Interpol's Paul Banks Releases Mix Tape

Interpol’s Paul Banks isn’t shy about his love for hip hop. He’s appeared on El-P’s latest album, Cancer 4 Cure, and as he told us around the release of his solo album, Banks, “I’ve done a few collaborations that haven’t come to fruition yet, that are a little bit in [the hip-hop] vein. I’ve been doing hip-hop instrumental music for years that nobody’s ever heard.”

So it’s no surprise that Banks now has his own mixtape, but the title is a little bit of an eyebrow-raiser: Everybody On My Dick Like They Supposed To Be. It was tweeted out by Matador Records earlier today and includes collaborations for El-P and Talib Kweli, along with Banks’ demos for solo material like “Young Again” and “Just Don’t Buy It.”
