Telekinesis Releases New Track, "Ghosts and Creatures"

January 8, 2013  |  11:45am

Telekinesis’ Benjamin Michael Lerner is back with a new track, titled “Ghosts and Creatures.” The track comes from the upcoming album Dormarion, which is the follow-up to the fantastic 12 Desperate Straight Lines and is expected to be released April 2. Take a listen below, where you can also check out the band’s tour dates. Telekinesis’ touring lineup is currently Lerner, Erik Walters of The Globes on guitar, Say Hi’s Eric Elbogen on bass and Wild Flag’s Rebecca Cole on keyboards. Thanks to Stereogum for the tip.

Lerner recorded the album in two weeks with Spoon drummer Jim Eno in Austin, Texas.
“It’s a beautiful-sounding word, and if you Google it, nothing but this one tiny street comes up,” says Lerner. “No origin, no description. I can’t tell you what the word means. It’s like something from Lost.”
