The Avett Brothers Announce Additional U.S. Tour Dates

The Avett Brothers announced today additional U.S. tour dates beginning in April.

Pre-sale tickets through the band’s email list will be available on Jan. 15, and tickets will go on sale to the public on Jan. 18.

Portugal. The Man is set to open for The Avett Brothers at their first night at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colo., and Old Crow Medicine Show is set to open shows in Alpharetta, Ga. and the second performance at Red Rocks.

These tour dates are scheduled around the band’s previously announced appearances at Merlefest in Wilkesboro, N.C. and Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Their latest studio album, The Carpenter, was recently nominated for a Grammy for Best Americana Album.
