Atlanta's Criminal Records To Launch 'Live' Series for Record Store Day

As part of April 20’s Record Store Day, Atlanta’s Criminal Records will be releasing the first two LPs in their “Live at Criminal Records” series, an on-going collection celebrating the shop’s first 20 years of memorable in-store performances.

First up is Atlanta-based von Grey, an indie folk quartet consisting of sisters ranging in age from 12 to 16. The band made their Criminal Records debut on New Year’s Day 2013 and are set to perform on The Late Show with David Letterman on Feb. 19.

The second release is a 12” LP from Christ, Lord, a six-piece gypsy folk group also based in Atlanta.

All LPs will also include a CD. The albums will also be available at nearby shops Wax N Facts and Decatur CD on Record Store Day, but will get further releases (including a digital release) later on. Keep checking back for more details on the albums and Record Store Day.
