Asus to Offer Tablet Equipped With Voice Calling In March

Asus launched a 7-inch tablet equipped with a voice calling feature at the 2013 Mobile World Congress on Monday, according to The Verge.

Asus’ Fonepad is a combination of an Android-run tablet and 3G phone. Other features of the Fonepad include 2 cameras ranging from 1.2 to 3 megapixels, 1GB of RAM and an Intel Atom Z2420 processor.

Asus’ official website boasts Fonepad’s dual nature, saying it “retains the flexibility of a smartphone but removes the need to carry two devices.”

The Fonepad will be released in March with prices starting at $249.
