Grant Morrison's Batman Inc. Among Top Comic Book Retail Reorders

In a surprise development, Bleeding Cool reports that the Grant Morrison-helmed Batman Inc. has witnessed a major increase in retailer reorders. The article speculates that this can be attributed to Morrison’s impending departure from both that title and Action Comics. Thus, readers are working to catch up prior to Morrison’s final issues.

In an interview with Comic Book Resources last July, Morrison discussed his departure.

“The Action Comics run concludes with issue #16, Batman Incorporated wraps up my take with issue #12, and after that I don’t have any plans for monthly superhero books for a while,” he said.

Young Avengers and Hawkeye also experienced a high level of reorders.

Also, though Marvel claims that the series has been underordered, Guardians of the Galaxy has also made the list. Much of this can be no doubt be attributed to the buzz surrounding the upcoming film adaptation, which announced the casting of Chris Pratt in the lead just yesterday.
