Daft Punk Colorfully Confirms Affiliation with Columbia Records

Although it’s been rumored for a while, fans of Daft Punk discovered this morning that the electronic duo’s next album, due out this spring, will be released on Columbia Records.

In the early hours of this morning the band’s website changed from displaying the Daft Punk logo to showing an image of a two-sided helmet on a black background with the Columbia logo in the bottom right corner. The band’s Facebook page was also modified to reflect the announcement.

This new album will be the first Daft Punk release on the Sony subsidiary.
