Eric Clapton Says He Will Stop Touring at 70

Clapton fans, you’ve got three more years.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Eric Clapton revealed that his touring days will be over once he turns 70.

Citing his general frustration with the more annoying aspects of traveling while on tour, Clapton told Rolling Stone that he’ll stop touring when he’s 70. But fortunately, Clapton was also quick to assure his fans, that even then he “won’t stop playing or doing one-offs.”

Eric Clapton is about to release his 21st album, Old Sock and begin an upcoming spring tour in the U.S.

Old Sock is set to be released March 12 and his spring U.S. tour begins March 14 in Phoenix, Ariz.
