Disruptor Beam Launches Game of Thrones Social Media Game

Earlier today, Boston-based game studio Disruptor Beam announced the release of Game of Thrones Ascent, a social-media game based on the George R.R. Martin book series and its immensely popular HBO adaptation.

Made in partnership with HBO Global Licensing and George R.R. Martin, the interactive game allows its players to choose their own Great House as well as their lineage.

From there, they can also develop their lands and reputation and go on quests, all the while while forging alliances with other players.

The game is now available in open beta on Facebook. You can begin playing here.
