Monty Python Members at Work on Sci-Fi Film

The surviving members of the Monty Python comedy troupe (except Eric Idle, for now) are reported to begin filming a sci-fi farce this spring, according to The Verge.

Based on a script by Terry Jones and Gavin Scott and 20 years in the making, Absolutely Anything is about a group of aliens who come to earth to see what happens when they give a human the power to do “absolutely anything,” according to Variety.

Set to be a mix of live-action and CGI footage, Anything, will star John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Michael Palin and Terry Jones.

Robin Williams is also attached to the project to voice the part of a talking dog.

The movie will be directed by Terry Jones. Jones says that the producers are still working towards getting Eric Idle involved in Anything as well, reports The Verge.
