Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood told British newspaper The Independent he’s “going to twist [the] arms” of his bandmates into playing English music and arts festival Glastonbury.
“We’ve got a meeting next month and that’s going to be my first question to them,” Wood said.
The British rock legends reunited last year at London’s O2 for a 50th anniversary show that featured guest appearances from performers such as Florence Welch and Eric Clapton, then continued to the United States for select dates in December.
NME previously reported Mick Jagger’s thoughts on Glastonbury, where he said, “There are other things in the world, you know, apart from Glastonbury! But then again, Glastonbury is very important. It seems to be very important to my children—highlight of their year!”
