Scarlett Johansson to Start All-Girl Band

Actress Scarlett Johansson announced Monday on Live! with Kelly and Michael that she is starting an all-girl band called the One and Only Singles, according to Spin.

And it seems Johansson has always had the music in her.

Her all-girl band announcement follows her Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song for the song “Before My Time,” from the documentary Chasing Ice. (Adele won on Sunday with “Skyfall.”)

Johansson also has an album of Tom Waits covers and a collaboration with Pete Yorn under her belt as well. Currently, Scarlett Johansson is starring in a Broadway revival of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
