Seryn to Release New Music in <i>The Canvas of Sound</i> Film

Along with working on their new album, Denton’s own Seryn is the subject of a new film titled The Canvas of Sound. What’s more, Seryn is creating an original score for the film, the first new music from the band since their critically acclaimed first album This is Where We Are came out in 2011.

Filmmakers Ty Clark and Kristopher Rutherford were inspired by the Denton band and decided to capture the band’s story as they move toward recording their next album. The Canvas of Sound aims to capture Seryn, their musical process and individual stories. The film will do this through visual storytelling and will also feature a live performance of Seryn playing music that revolves around their new body of work.
