Thanks to Twitter, every now and then we get to see one of our favorite pop culture icons deal with the masses in ways that would have been impossible decades ago.Take The Black Keys’ Patrick Carney, who took some hot media bait after being asked about Bieber’s Grammy snubs (by TMZ, obviously): “He’s rich right? Grammys are for, like, music. Not for money, and he’s making a lot of money. He should be happy.”

Bieber proceeded by getting all “oh hell no,” tweeting: “the black keys drummer should be slapped around haha” and sicking his cult dedicated following of Beliebers on Carney. The results were so hilarious, we had to include many of them here. Throw in some commentary on the Pope and that doomed Carnival cruise, and it was a good week to be on Twitter.
