In addition to Brave winning the BAFTA last night for Best Animated Film, Pixar has released a full-length trailer for their highly anticipated summer release Monsters University.
The animated prequel will tell the story of how beloved monsters Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan from the hit film Monsters, Inc. met in colleges as roommates. To bring life to the best friend duo, Billy Crystal and John Goodman return to voice Mike and Sully, respectively. Steve Buscemi will also reprise his role of villan Randall Boggs.
The new trailer shows a retainer-wearing Mike on his orientation tour, learning about the college’s versions of the improv and art clubs and later monster football. The once-rivalry between Mike and Sully is further showcased as they compete to determine which monster is the scariest.
The film—which is one of our 40 Most Anticipated New Movies Coming in 2013—will be released in theaters on June 21.
