Big Boi Announces Tour Dates with Killer Mike
As reported by Rolling Stone, Big Boi is set to hit the road starting next month with a performance at Athens, Ga.’s Georgia Theater in support of last year’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. From there, the rapper will play close to 50 shows over the course of the next three months.
Joining Big Boi will be fellow Atlanta rapper Killer Mike, whose recent album R.A.P. Music won a spot on our Albums of the Year list.
“It’ll be a nice block of Killer Mike and Big just killing shit,” Big Boi told Rolling Stone. “We’re gonna do just about all the records that me and him recorded together.”
In addition to his solo material, Big Boi said his set will also feature cuts from his OutKast days. He also stated that he would love to invite other collaborations on stage “depending on who’s in the vicinity.”
