After taking a year off, Glastonbury has announced their 2013 lineup and it was worth the two-year wait, as The Rolling Stones will be about the biggest band to play a music festival, like, ever.
Joining the Stones as headliners will be Arctic Monkeys and Mumford and Sons. Other headliner-sized acts scheduled are Portishead, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Phoenix, Vampire Weekend and Smashing Pumpkins
Also playing the festival on June 28-30 are Of Monsters and Men, Local Natives, Alabama Shakes, Elvis Costello, The Lumineers, The Weeknd, Tame Impala, Major Lazer, Nas, Tyler, the Creator, Cat Power, Crystal Castles, James Blake, Amanda Palmer, SBTRKT, The xx, Matthew E. White, Solange, Disclosure, Frightened Rabbit, Savages, Lucinda Williams Jessie Ware, Johnny Marr, Dinosaur Jr., Toro Y Moi, Primal Scream, Foals, Public Enemy, Haim, Azealia Banks, Rufus Wainwright, Devendra Banhart, Alt-J, Chic featuring Nile Rogers, Billy Bragg, Sinead O’Connor, Glen Hansard, and The Proclaimers.
