Release Date for jOBS Delayed

Following its January premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, the release date for the Steve Jobs biopic, jOBS, has been postponed until further notice, according to Mashable.

jOBS was originally slated to be released on April 19. An April release for the movie would have marked the 37th anniversary of the founding of Jobs’ company, Apple, Inc., Deadline points out.

The film’s distributor, Open Road, felt that the fast-approaching April deadline wouldn’t provide enough time to properly publicize jOBS.

jOBS stars Ashton Kutcher as the eponymous technology and entrepreneurial icon. The biopic garnered mixed reviews among Sundance audience members.

A new release date for jOBS has not been announced.
