Watch the Trailer for HBO's Christopher Guest Series Family Tree

HBO released the trailer for the the previously announced Christopher Guest series Family Tree.

The iconic mockumentary mastermind is known for such films as Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show and This is Spinal Tap. Taking his talents to the small screen, Guest created Family Tree with longtime collaborator Jim Piddock.

The comedy tells the story of a recently unemployed bachelor, played by Chris O’Dowd, that attempts to track down his eccentric family after discovering a mysterious box in his aunt’s belongings. In addition to Piddock, Christopher Guest regulars such as Michael McKean, Fred Willard, Ed Begley Jr. and Don Lake will also appear in the Family Tree.

Family Tree will debut in May on HBO as well as BBC 2 in the U.K.
