Twitter Remembers Roger Ebert
After a post on Roger Ebert’s blog yesterday, which declared he’d be taking a “leave of presence,” today’s sudden news of his death hit many all the harder. While specific details aren’t available, Ebert led a long, public battle with cancer, which he had confirmed had returned in yesterday’s post.
But after the initial shock of Ebert’s death, many artists were left sharing their long-term appreciation and admiration for the legendary Sun-Times film critic, who was the first of his kind to take home a Pulitzer Prize.
