Bradley Cooper Replaces Jude Law in Jane Got a Gun

According to Deadline, Bradley Cooper has been cast as the antagonist in Jane Got a Gun. Jude Law previously held this role but exited shortly after director Lynne Ramsay abruptly quit the film on the first day of production.

Warrior director Gavin O’Connor has since taken over to helm Jane Got a Gun. The indie western is currently in the second week of production. Recently Oscar-nominated for Silver Linings Playbook, Cooper will play Bishop, the leader of the gang responsible for shooting up the estranged outlaw husband of a landowner. Natalie Portman and Joel Edgerton round out the cast.

Cooper is currently promoting this weekend’s release of The Place Beyond the Pines with Ryan Gosling. He will also appear in the final installment of The Hangover trilogy next month as well as once-again opposite Jennifer Lawrence in Susanne Bier’s Serena this fall.
