City and Colour Announces U.S., European Tour Dates

City and Colour announced on Monday the dates for an upcoming eight-week fall U.S. tour and a three-month European tour.

Also known as Dallas Green, the singer-songwriter will begin his U.S. concert tour on Sept. 13 in Northampton, Mass. at the Calvin Theatre. The U.S. tour will end with a performance at The Fillmore in Detroit, Mich. on Nov. 8.

City and Colour’s spring/summer tour in Europe is slated for a June 5 start with a show at London’s Bush Hall. This tour will end in Reading, U.K. with a performance at the Reading Festival.

Both tours are in celebration of City and Colour’s upcoming album, The Hurry and The Harm, which will be available for pre-order on iTunes starting tomorrow, in standard or deluxe versions. The official release date of The Hurry and The Harm is June 4.

Fans can also secure a (free) digital download of the album upon the official release date with the purchase of a concert ticket. Ticket-holders will also receive a free download of the previously unreleased track, “Northern Wind (Live from Molson Canadian Amphitheatre—Sept 2012).”

The lyric video for the first single from The Hurry and The Harm, “Thirst,” has already been released and you can view it here.

Tickets for the U.S. tour will be officially be available for purchase Friday, April 12, with a pre-order ticket sale phase beginning tomorrow, April 9 at 12 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from the City and Colour website.
