Jamie Foxx to Produce Horror Series for Syfy Channel

Syfy has announced a still-untitled, five-episode horror series that will be written, directed and produced by actor Jamie Foxx.

A report from Deadline states the series is expected to be filmed in the style of The Twilight Zone and Tales From The Crypt and is slated for an October premiere during Syfy’s 31 Days of Halloween.

Each episode’s storyline is also expected to feature morality themes such as envy and superficiality, according to Deadline Hollywood.

And as Deadline points out, Foxx also mentioned the possibility that he will make a guest appearance:

“Get ready to lose it when some special friends and I bring the scares this October, and who knows … maybe I’ll make a guest appearance or two along the way!”
