Johnny Cash Museum to Open in May

According The Tennessean, the long-awaited Johnny Cash Museum is set to officially open this May in downtown Nashville.

The venue features various Johnny and June Carter Cash memorabilia collected over four decades by the museum’s owner, Bill Miller, who was a friend of The Man in Black. Johnny and June’s marriage certificate, tin cups from Folsom Prison and various instruments are among the artifacts to be displayed in The Johnny Cash Museum.

The Country Music Hall of Famer’s siblings, Joanne Cash Yates and Tommy Cash, and daughter Cathy Cash-Tittle were among the guests at a private viewing yesterday morning. When introducing visitors to the museum, Miller clarified, “Death will not be portrayed because when you walk out on the streets, he’s still alive. He’s everywhere.”
