Vertigo's Kim Novak to Serve as Guest of Honor at Cannes Film Festival
Deadline reports that Kim Novak will be a guest of honor at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Novak will be on hand for the premiere of a new restoration of Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo, which will screen as part of the Cannes Classic series. The film also recently beat out Citizen Kane on the British Film Institute’s Sight & Sound survey of the 50 Greatest Films of All Time.
Novak will also be on hand to hand out a prize during the closing ceremony on May 26.
