X-Men: Days of Future Past Director Reveals New Appearances in Vine Clip

Early this morning, X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer posted a Vine video on his Twitter account. In it, he documents a semicircle of chairs, each boasting the name of a major character.

While some names are obvious (Magneto, Xavier, Logan, Storm), two previously unconfirmed names make an appearance: Bishop and Warpath.

According to a report by /Film, this announcement all but confirms that French actor Omar Sy (The Intouchables), who was confirmed for the movie last month, will be playing Bishop, a mutant policeman from a dystopian future capable of absorbing and projecting energy. Also, given that confirmed actor Booboo Stewart (Twilight) is the only Native American actor in the cast, the speculation that he will be playing Warpath, an Apache Native American mutant, appears to have some grounding.

Other names included on the chairs include Kitty Pryde, Bobby “Iceman” Drake, Peter “Colossus” Rasputin (who made a brief appearance in X-Men: The Last Stand) and Blink (a teleporting mutant who will reportedly be played by Chinese actress Fan Bingbing)
