Boston Calling to Return in September with Vampire Weekend, Passion Pit, More
There were some that took issue with the lineup of Boston’s first and only large music festival, as Boston Calling’s initial installment featured just a couple handfuls of acts a day without venturing far from the normal festival fare. Turns out, Boston Calling had more planned.
From the stage at the close of its first Memorial Day fest, Boston Calling announced they would return — in September. Headliners for the two-day sequel, schedule for September 7 and 8, will be Vampire Weekend and Passion Pit.
Also on the bill are Kendrick Lamar, Solange, Local Natives, Okkervil River, Bat For Lashes, Major Lazer, The Gaslight Anthem, The Airborne Toxic Event, Wolfgang Gartner, Flosstradamus, Deer Tick, Flume, Lucious, Big Black Delta, You Won’t, and Bearstronaut.
Early bird ticket go on sale this Friday, May 31, so be sure to check Boston Calling’s website for details as they become available.
