Exclusive Image Comics Preview: "Fatale #14"
Writer: Ed Brubaker
Artist: Sean Phillips
Release Date: May 15, 2013
As Fatale writer Ed Brubaker explained to Paste in our recent interview, the last of his four done-in-one historical stories would blend adventure and horror in the gritty confines of The Second World War. “The next [issue] is set in World War II and feels very Indiana Jones-y here and there, but also really creepy. And Sean’s art in it actually reminds me of old EC Two-Fisted Tales in some places, so it’s so much fun to see him do that stuff.”
Instead of fantasizing about Brubaker’s tantalizing description until the comic’s release on Wednesday, Image was kind enough to share an EXCLUSIVE preview of Fatale #14 to check out the issue’s macabre exposition and penciller Sean Phillips’ meticulous take on war-torn Europe. Enjoy.
The final standalone FATALE FLASHBACK issue – World War Two! Nazi cultists and monsters are after Jo, as she searches for answers and comes face to face with Mr. Bishop for the first time!
And remember each issue of FATALE contains extra content, articles and artwork that are not available anywhere but the printed single issues.
