Grizzly Bear and Ellen Get Chummy on The Ellen Show

video platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo playerAfter Brooklyn-based indie darlings Grizzly Bear dropped by the Ellen Show to play “Yet Again” off their most recent album Shields, the performance was finally aired today. Playing to a considerably different crowd than they’re used to, and working around time constraints, the band played a tapered version of the tune without the wild mix of percussion and guitar that forms the tail-end of the song.

Charismatic Grizzly Bear frontman Ed Droste said via Twitter,”Never been on a tv show where the host has chatted with us so much. Primo friendly vibes here.”

Calling them “one of her favorite bands,” Ellen ended up giving the entire studio audience a copy of their album. Does this mean we’ll be bringing mom to their next show?
