Arcade Fire's Win Butler Set to Join The Rolling Stones in Montreal
Add it to the list of many big appearances for the Stones’ “50 and Counting” tour. Win Butler of Arcade Fire will join the Stones in Montreal this Sunday.
The Stones announced the news on their Twitter page yesterday that Butler will perform a song with them at Bell Centre in Quebec.
Recently with guests like Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood, we’ve got a feeling that Butler will join Mick and the gang with more of a rocker than the ballads the ladies have been helping out with.
This won’t be the first time Jagger has teamed up with Butler. Arcade Fire performed “The Last Time” on the season finale of SNL two years ago with the host and musical guest Mick Jagger.
“Really pleased Win Butler is joining us in Montreal,” Jagger tweeted yesterday. “I had a great time playing w him on SNL, so I know his Stones duet will be outstanding.”
