Organizers for the 2013 Life is good Festival in Canton, Mass. have announced the full lineup for the two-day, family friendly event which will take place later this year.
Jack Johnson, Daryl Hall & John Oates, The Roots and Amos Lee are among the artists that will headline this year’s festival, which will take place from Sept. 21-22. They will be joined by kids’ acts like YO GABBA GABBA! and Recess Monkey for the event that seeks to raise money for the Life is good Kids Foundation.
“Every music festival has its own feel,” said Jack Johnson in a press release for the event. “All my friends that have played at the Life is good Festival have told me that the energy that the crowd brings is like nowhere else. I can’t wait to finally experience it myself.”
The charity event is put on by Superfly Presents, the same outfit that organizes the Bonnaroo and Outside Lands festivals. It includes three stages, various interactive art activities and hands-on games for the kids. Organizers expect over 30,000 festival goers over the 2-day event and are hoping to raise over $1 million for their cause.
