Listen to Typhoon's New Single "Young Fathers"

Typhoon is an aptly titled band, as the group is comprised of over 10 musicians releasing an immense array of sounds that mesh together like puzzle pieces. With their third full-length album, White Lighter, set for an Aug. 20 release, the band recently shared their second single for the album “Young Fathers” with Spin.

“Young Fathers” begins with a bare, choppy acoustic guitar but swiftly begins to take form and build a thick layer of instrumentation. “I was born in September. And like everything else I can’t remember, I replace it with scenes from a film that I will never make,” vocalist Kyle Morton sings out and opens the song with an attention-grabbing line.

The group also announced a full U.S. tour to accompany the release of their album. Check out their new single and tour dates below.
