Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film Interstellar has achieved hype unlike many others, and now we’ve got a date to look forward to: Nov. 7, 2014.
Interstellar is a film that was originally set to be directed by Steven Spielberg. In 2006 Spielberg hired Jonathan Nolan to write the screenplay. After Spielberg’s 2012 departure, Christopher Nolan joined his brother Jonathan on the film, re-writing the script and bringing in a fantastic cast of actors and actresses to this explorative sci-fi film.
Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine are set to star in the film, which explores the depths of physicist Kip Thorne’s theories on wormholes and their relation to time travel.
Collider has reported that Hans Zimmer, longtime collaborator with Nolan, has already begun working on music for the film. Filming for Interstellar is set to take place later this year.
