Paul McCartney to Headline Hour-Long Colbert Report Special

Steven Colbert has got the Macca, Sir Paul McCartney, for a full hour on June 12 next week. McCartney will sit down for an interview and perform on the Colbert Report.

The former Beatle has kept himself busy these days, releasing Wings Over America, presenting at PETA events and is gearing up for his Bonnaroo debut. He’s in the middle of his U.S. tour, “Out There,” and is taking over Colbert’s entire show for an event that shouldn’t be missed.

“I think this McCartney kid’s got something special and I’m gonna put him on the map!” Colbert said in a statement.

This will be the second time McCartney visits The Colbert Report and his first time as a musical guest.
