Reggie Watts to Star in Comedy Central's Bad Advice From My Brother
Comedy Central has cast the three main roles for their upcoming adaptation of Jordan Pope Roush’s Bad Advice From My Brother blog. According to Deadline, Reggie Watts, Mike Castle and Miles Fisher will be teaming up for the upcoming half-hour comedy written by Roush and directed by Chris Koch (Modern Family, Scrubs, Workaholics).
Mike Castle will play the role of Ben, who recently moved in with his manchild older brother Jason (Fisher). While Ben aspires to follow in their neighbor Reggie’s footsteps (fittingly enough played by Reggie Watts), Jason sees it fit to take his brother under his wing and show him the ways of life.
The blog features gems from “Jason” like “It’s so hard to tell when my jeans are stained and when I’m having an acid flashback. Don’t wanna be a guy who washes his jeans a lot though. Gotta stick to twice a year.” and “Some nights I drink so much alcohol I get worried that my head’s gonna explode when I light a cigarette.”
Bad Advice From My Brother is executive produced by Brad Copeland (Arrested Development, Coffee Town), Tony Hernandez (Louie, The Onion News Network) and Trevor Engelson. Copeland will serve as the show’s showrunner.
