There’s no denying that Sasquatch! is one of the premiere music festivals not only on the West Coast, but throughout the entire country. The scenic Gorge Amphitheater in George, Wash. plays host to the festival where, a few weeks ago, acts like The Postal Service, Vampire Weekend and Sigur Rós attracted droves of concertgoers to the grounds for a weekend filled with fantastic tunes. While the festival usually falls on Memorial Day weekend, Sasquatch! has recently followed suit of other massive festivals expanded their beloved event to another music-filled weekend.
Sasquatch! announced today that the 2014 installation of the festival would take place not only from May 23-25, but also from July 4-6. While festivals like Coachella and Austin City Limits have expanded to two-weekends with excellent results, Sasquatch! is switching it up by making their second installment an entirely different lineup.
This year’s festival sold-out in a record 90 minutes, making this expansion a natural progression for the rapidly growing festival. With over a month in-between the two weekends, festival-goers have time to replenish their bodies—and their wallets—if they so choose to attend both weekends.
