Sebadoh to Release Secret EP, New Full-Length Album

Sebadoh announced that their first LP in 14 years, Defend Yourself, will be released Sept. 17 of this year.

The band also announced that songs that they secretly posted on their BandCamp page will get a proper release through Joyful Noise Recordings as a 10” vinyl record on June 25.

The band members—Lou Barlow, Jason Loewenstein and Bob D’Amico—had plans on eventually making a new record after their long break.

“A new record had always been something we knew we would get around to doing and the pieces finally seemed to fall in place,” Barlow said. “My experience with the Dinosaur Jr. post-reunion albums had shown that it was best to just get on with it, drop any fears of not surpassing the band’s earlier work & just make some new songs to play live & share with the people who still care about us.”
