<i>Sin City</i> Sequel Release Pushed Back Nearly a Year

Box Office Mojo shows that Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez’s much-anticipated sequel to 2005’s Sin City will now be released Aug. 22 of 2014, almost a whole year later than its previously expected release of this October.

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is just one of many projects that Rodriguez has under his sleeve these days: He’s got this year’s Machete Kills, a short titled Two Scoops and a couple of TV series that a re in pre-production.

Fans of the original Sin City still have a lot to look forward to the sequel including the stellar cast that’s on board. Josh Brolin, Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Eva Green, Ray Liotta, Jeremy Piven and many others are signed on for the film.
