Watch Paul McCartney Take Over The Colbert Report

Before the legendary songwriter begins his trek to the festi-freak mecca of Bonnaroo, Paul McCartney stopped by The Colbert Report for a full hour of brain-picking, music-filled goodness.

McCartney performed six full songs on the show but first joined Colbert for a twelve-minute interview that ranges from the origins of Wings, rebuilding after leaving an iconic band, proper pronunciation of “schedule” and the evolution of The Beatles.

McCartney pulled out fan favorites from both of his highly acclaimed projects including The Beatles’ “I’ve Just Seen a Face,” “Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!” and “Lady Madonna,” as well Wings’ “Hi, Hi, Hi” and “Listen To What the Man Said.” McCartney also performed “Birthday” as a web-exclusive performance.
