Giant Dragon Skull Promoting Game of Thrones Turns Heads on English Beach
The skull of a giant dragon has washed ashore in Charmouth, England or so it appears. In reality, the 40-foot skeletal remains were created to celebrate the arrival of season three of Game of Thrones to Blinkbox, a U.K.-based movie and TV streaming service.
Charmouth Beach in Dorset is part of the Jurassic Coast, named for the high quantity of prehistoric fossils found along its beaches, making it the perfect location for the stunt.
Dare I call it? Blinkbox wins the Internet this week with what has to be one of the most epic television-related promotions ever.
