A Lock Of Mick Jagger's Hair Sold For $6,000 at a UK Auction

If Mick Jagger didn’t have a Samson complex before, I’m sure he does now. A single lock of the rockstar’s hair was sold for 4,000 pounds (or around 6,000 USD) this Wednesday at a London auction.

His ex-girlfriend Chrissie Shrimpton sold the lock in an effort to raise money for Changing Faces, an English charity dedicated to supporting those with facial disfigurements.

The auction reportedly also sold a set of lyrics to “The Jean Genie” handwritten by David Bowie for 18,750 pounds, and also one of Jimmy Page’s old guitars for 26,250 pounds, amongst other various memorabilia.

Would you pay 6,000 dollars for one of Mick Jagger’s wavy tresses? Let us know in the comment section below.
