Albert Hammond Jr. To Release New EP

Did The Strokes’ new album leave you thirsty for more? If so then you’re in luck.

In his guest spot on Nocturnal Emotions with Har Mar Superstar radio show, Strokes guitarist/keyboardist Albert Hammond Jr. announced that he will release a five-track EP. This will be his first solo project since his 2008 album ¿Como te Llama?.

The EP will feature Hammond Jr. on most of the instruments, with Matt Romano drumming, as Pitchfork reports.

The as-of-now untitled EP will be produced by frequent Strokes collaborator Gus Oberg, and it will be released on Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas’’ label, Cult Records; however, a release date is still unannounced.
