Classics like Say Anything and The Breakfast Club to Return to Select Theaters

Inspired by the fall coming-of-age film The Spectacular Now, starring Shailene Woodley and Miles Teller, the Landmark Theater chain and other theaters around the country will screen a series of classic cult comedies every Tuesday in June leading up to the release of the upcoming film on Aug. 2.

Revisit lovelorn Lloyd’s famous boombox moment in Say Anything on July 9, followed by screenings of stoner comedy Dazed and Confused, Cameron Crowe’s Almost Famous and, of course, “don’t forget about” John Hughes’ Breakfast Club.

Spectacular Now screenwriters Michael Weber and Scott Neustadter will provide a video introduction at the beginning of each screening, where audience members will also pick up a ticket to see their Sundance hit.
