Dreamworks Announces Cate Blanchett, Kit Harington for How to Train Your Dragon 2

News keeps rolling in from this week’s Comic-Con in San Diego, and yesterday DreamWorks took the stage to unveil new information about one of their most highly anticipated upcoming films.

The animation studio announced that Cate Blanchett, Kit Harington, and Djimon Hounsou will all voice new roles in the upcoming How To Train Your Dragon 2.

The sequel to 2010’s unexpected delight How to Train Your Dragon will feature Academy Award-winner Blanchett voicing a character named Volca who director Dean DeBlois described as “a feral recluse vigilante that’s been out there rescuing dragons from traps.” Harrington, who plays Night’s Watchmen Jon Snow on HBO’s Game of Thrones, will play a “self-declared world’s greatest dragon trapper.” Honsou, who has been nominated for two Academy Awards for his roles in 2004’s In America and 2007’s Blood Diamond, will voice a character named Drago Bloodfist.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 is out June 20, 2014. Watch the teaser trailer below.
